Biometric Privacy Notice

This notice explains how PersonaFix Pte Ltd handles face and voice data when you build a character from photos, video or audio of a real person. It is our public retention schedule and destruction policy, including for the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act.

What we collect

• Photos, video and audio you upload of a real person.
• Still frames and a voice clip of 12 to 15 seconds cut from them.
• For each face: head angle, sharpness, face size and an estimated age.
• For each voice clip: its length and how much speech it holds.

If we refuse a file (for example, a face that appears under 21, or sexual content), we keep a note of why and the estimated age with that file. The file itself stays in private storage, unused, until it is destroyed under the schedule below.

What we do not keep

Our servers compute a numerical measurement of each face (sometimes called face geometry or a face template). We use it in two places only: to tell people apart in your uploads, and to check that each generated photo looks like your chosen photos. It exists only in memory while that step runs and is then discarded. We never store a face measurement of any real person. We do not use face or voice data to identify who anyone is.

The voice clip is stored, and is sent to our video provider so the character can speak in that voice. It follows the same schedule as the files it was cut from.

Why we use it

Only to build the character you asked for, to generate photos and video of it, to refuse characters that appear to show a minor, and to act on reports.

Consent

Before any upload, the person uploading must tick a box confirming they have every right and consent the law requires for each person in the files. If you upload yourself, that box is your written consent. If you upload someone else, you confirm you hold their consent.

Retention schedule and destruction

We permanently destroy uploaded files, the stills and voice clip taken from them, and the face analysis results kept with them, at the first of these:

1. the user deletes them;
2. the user deletes the character or their account (within a day);
3. 3 years after the character was last used (any generation with it, or any new upload to it);
4. a valid report under our Likeness Takedown Policy.

An automatic daily process carries out rule 3. Face measurements are never retained, so no schedule is needed for them.

Sharing

We do not sell, lease, trade or otherwise profit from face or voice data. We share files only with the service providers who help us deliver the service (listed in our Privacy Policy, section 4), only to deliver what the user asked for, or where the law requires.

Security

Files are kept in private storage that only the character's owner can reach through our service. Only our servers can write them. We protect them with at least the same care as our other confidential data.

Your choices and contact

You can delete a character's files at any time in the studio. If someone made a character of you, use the "Report an AI replica of you" form on Support.
