1. What PersonaFix is
PersonaFix generates photorealistic synthetic characters — images, voice and video — from text descriptions you write. The characters are generated, not derived from photographs of real people. You direct that generation; you do not upload someone's likeness.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done through your account. One person or organisation per account.
3. Credits and billing
The service is sold on a monthly subscription that grants a fixed number of credits. Credits pay for generation work — each image, voice clip and video second has a published credit cost, listed in-product before you spend it.
Credits are held when a generation starts and reconciled against the actual cost when it finishes; the difference is returned. Failed generations are refunded in full. Credits do not carry over between billing periods and have no cash value.
4. What you may not do
See the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: do not use the service to depict a real person without their consent, to produce sexual content involving minors, to impersonate, defraud or harass, or to generate anything unlawful. We run automated moderation on both what you submit and what the service produces, and we refuse work that fails it.
5. What you own
You own the characters and media you generate, subject to your compliance with these terms and to the rights of the underlying model providers. We claim no ownership of your output. We store it so the product can show it to you.
6. Labelling and disclosure when you publish
You choose where the output goes, so the duty that attaches to publishing it is yours.
Everything this service produces depicts synthetic people generated by an AI model. A growing number of markets require that fact to be disclosed to the people who see it — the EU AI Act's transparency provisions are the clearest example, and not the only one. Those duties fall on the party that deploys or publishes the content. That is you, not us.
So, before you publish, distribute or run output as advertising, you agree to:
- work out what the markets you publish into require of you, including any labelling, disclosure or record-keeping obligation;
- apply that labelling or disclosure in the form those rules require;
- follow the synthetic-media policies of any platform you publish on, which are frequently stricter than the law; and
- keep whatever records those obligations call for.
What we give you, and what it does not do. Delivered files carry C2PA content credentials marking them as AI-generated. That is a technical signal meant to help you, and it is not a substitute for disclosure you owe: provenance metadata does not survive every platform's processing, and metadata cannot discharge an obligation owed to a person watching. We do not tell you which rules apply to you, and nothing here is legal advice — if you are unsure, take your own.
How responsibility is apportioned between us if this section is breached forms part of section 9, which is not yet drafted.
7. Availability
The service depends on third-party model providers (see the Privacy Policy for the list). Those providers can be slow, unavailable, or can refuse a generation on their own content policy. We do not guarantee any particular generation will succeed.
8. Termination
You may stop at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. See the Refund Policy for what happens to a paid period.
9. Liability
PLACEHOLDER — limitation of liability, warranties, indemnity and governing law all require drafting by a qualified person and are deliberately not invented here.
10. Changes
We will publish a new version of this document with a new version date. Material changes will be notified to the email on your account.
